1. Download the KLARVUE APP from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Create an account and login.

2. Screw on the antenna to the camera tightly.

3. Unlatch the camera, then insert an SD card into the bottom right slot.

4. Pop open the battery tray by pressing the eject button at the bottom right. Insert 12 brand new lithium AA batteries into the tray. 

5. Toggle the camera to "SETUP" mode. Once on, the camera will start the "init 4G" process. Within a minute, you will see "registration complete" as well as signal bars displayed on the screen. (IMPORTANT: make sure there is cell signal nearby)

6. On the KLARVUE APP, click "ACTIVATE A DEVICE" or the "+" button at top right, select "Cellular Camera" (enable your phone's camera function if prompted) to scan the QR code, which can be found below.

4. If the activation is successful, you will be asked to assign a name for the camera. If this camera is activated for the first time, it will come with a 7-day free trial cellular plan (100 photons and 1 HD Video). Thereafter, to continue enjoying the cell function, it is vital to purchase a plan that best fits your need.

5. Now that the camera has been successfully activated, you may place your camera into the wild, toggle the camera to "ON", and wait for stunning images to appear on the KLARVUE APP.

Pro Tip: Use the "SETUP" mode to get the best camera placement angle, but please remember to toggle the camera to "ON" when you finish setting up.

3. Insert 8 lithium AA batteries into the battery tray. Then turn on the camera.

4. Once turned on and the loading screen with our logo disappears, press the left arrow button as circled out in the picture below, and wait for the QR code to appear. (If the display goes dark due to inactivity, press the "MENU" button to wake the camera up, then press the left arrow button again to reveal the QR code).

5. On the KLARVUE APP, click "ACTIVATE A DEVICE" or the "+" button at top right, then select "Wi-Fi Camera" to scan the QR code (To ensure a smooth connection process, make sure to allow permissions when prompted).

5.1. (For IOS users) When you see the below prompt, select "Join".

5.2 (For ANDROID users) Join the camera's WiFi if automatically prompted. Otherwise, you will have to follow the app instruction to manually connect to the WiFi with a password "12345678". (IMPORTANT: Always let the app to guide you to the WiFi settings page, do not manually go to the WiFi settings on your own)

Note: If you keep failing to connect, uninstall and reinstall the app to try again. If the problem persists, please reach out to support@klarvue.com.

6. Once you've successfully connected to the camera and assigned a name for it, you may now: a) access its photo gallery to view/delete/download pictures; b) In "DEVICES", you may change camera settings / see status / disconnect / or go to live view mode by clicking the movie icon at the bottom (You can tell the camera is actively connected when the movie icon is colorful. Otherwise, it will be dark).
